If you can meet the expectations of your role by working flexibly and following non-traditional hours, and your manager is happy for you to do so, then that fits within our flexible working culture. It does help, however, to be clear about our expectations of what a working week looks like. This ensures that everyone is on the same page about what is expected and so we can keep track if someone is regularly working in excess of these hours or working many fewer hours.
The standard working week at Bukable is forty hours, which breaks down to roughly seven hours per day working (thirty-five hours per week) and one hour for breaks (five hours per week). This should include at least one break of twenty minutes or more, which should be taken away from your computer.
For part-time working week at Bukable is star twenty-five hours, which breaks down to about five hours per day and thirty minutes for breaks. This should include at least one break of ten minutes or more, which should be taken away from your computer.
The company's working hours are from 10 am to 6 pm in your time zone for full-time employees, while part-time employees can choose their own work hours within those hours. Due to the fact that our teams are located in these timezones: GMT +3, GMT 0 and GMT +1, you may find your teammates online during their working hours in your timezone. With our flexible work schedule, you can adjust your schedule to meet your needs and work outside of the traditional office schedule when necessary.
Work shifts are the times during the day when you begin and end your working hours on Bukable projects and tasks. We use Jibble for clocking in and out before and after the end of work shifts to help you track how many hours you spent working and also to help PMs keep track of the performance of the team. It is expected that team members should write shift reports after work shifts in the checked out message sent by Jibble in the Slack channel #activity-and-report as seen below.
